Very Satisfied. I went to Wavelengths on the recommendation of a friend for a haircut and to get my hair highlighted. The stylist was very friendly. I showed him a picture and he gave me exactly what I wanted. I have received so many compliments on my hair I will never go to another salon.

It is kinda hard to find, it is right across the street from the courthouse. They have free parking in the back.

I have recommended this place to all my friends and can't wait until my next appointment. I love it!

Stood me up. I went for color streaks and a cut. The guys were very pleasant during the process and clued me in to some ideas for exploring the town, since I am new here. After the cut, I was shown my hair in the mirror. The cut was not catastrophic, but it was kind of un-fun in the back, and it was left longer than I had wanted. On the spot, I said I'd like to come back and have the cut adjusted. Sure, he said, just call back. So I did, and I got an appointment to come back. When I came back, no one was there. I called and left a message, but no one returned my call. I think that after a person pays $200, they should be ecstatic with the way that their hair came out.

Wavelengths. I went to this salon for many many years when the original owner ran it. She employed good stylists. After it sold a couple years ago, I stopped going. Then, I needed a cut and my usual stylist was out of town, so I gave it a try. I should have turned around when I approached the entrance which had not been swept in who knows how long. The place needs some greatly needed cleaning up.

The stylist wanted to rush me to shampoo my hair without even discussing what I wanted. Remember, she had never cut my hair before. She left a long chopped lower layer in the back after I expressed I wanted the back shorter than the front,. I'm a middle aged accountant who needs to looks professional. The front is now too short and will probably take six months at least to grow out. My hair has no shape and sticks out in the back.

The stylist was nervous, and talked bout herself constantly. If you're a high school dropout, I'm not interested in hearing the details. She took twice as long as my regular stylist and gave me a chop job. She managed to blow dry my hair to cover the destroyed back layer, so I left a generous $10 tip (18%) for a $55 cut which is no better than the local Supercuts. After washing my hair the next day, the damage was apparent.

I now have to pay for another cut with my regular stylist which will be $70 plus tip.

Lesson learned: wait for the person you trust to cut your hair.

Five Star Pampering. I went to Wavelengths to get highlights and i spent the whole day pampering myself. The people there are so much fun I didn't want to leave. I have the best haircut and color i have ever had, I also got my first brazilian bikini wax and I love it, althought it was a little uncomfortable I am completly sold. I had a a facial that made my skin glow, and a pedicure. I have searched for a great place and this is it. They are absolutly wonderful.I even talked my boyfriend into getting his nostrils waxed. If you ever want to go and have a life changing day, try this place. My hair is so great i couldn't help looking at myself. I felt like a new person when I left. Another thing I thought was great about this place was the way they educate you on how to take care of your hair, and your skin, no one has ever explained so much to me, or answered my questions before. I give this place a definate Five star review.

Left With Confidence. I was a bit nervous to switch Salons since I was with my hairdresser for a few years. I heard great things about Wavelengths but still I was skeptical to try someone new. LUCKILY I decided to call and am I glad I did. I left the Salon with a boost of confidence and a fantastic new look.

I adore this place and these people!. I hired Wavelengths to do hair and make up for my self and my posse for my wedding at Bishop's Lodge in Santa Fe. They came to us, fed us, and pampered us. We had so much fun! And our men had a personal barbershop in their room!

My husband told me again and again how beautiful I looked. (He even continues to remind me weeks later).

I have to say I completely agree. I have never had a better hairdo and my make up was georgeous! My mani/pedi was a loving experience. My hands and feet looked and felt great!

My parents, family and friends were all very pleased with our services.

So many thanks to the gang at Wavelengths! We shall see you again!

Lovin it!. I would suggest to the woman below going to costcutters or a "franchised" salon. Although there are stylists at Wavelengths that are more expensive you dont have to use them, there is tiered pricing. It is a downtown salon and not pricey like the woman mentioned. This is a D&G concept salon and is worth trying.

I used an associate stylist instead of a senior stylist for better pricing and had a wonderful experience. Thanks Denise you were great!

Overpriced, but decent haircuts. Wavelengths lists their haircut prices at $44 and up (which I already thought was pricey). Seeing as I just needed a good trim but have thick hair many stylists have difficulty working with, I decided to try them. How much more than $44 could a trim, a little texturing, and a blow-dry be?

Try $86 plus tax.

True, the stylist worked with me and got me the style I desired. But I think that's part and parcel of the job, no?

Shop around before you try Wavelengths. Way overpriced for the service.

Wow!. Wavelengths is currently under new ownership and I have to say my experience was great, better than it’s ever been. Aside from the FREE drinks and snacks my services were great. The energy the establishment created is amazing... With the great music and fun environment I have not been to a place like this in New Mexico EVER!

I have to say I have found my beauty destination.
