Cozy rooms, restored adobe buildings and friendly innkeepers ooze charm at this quiet B&B two blocks off the Plaza. In the evening, guests mingle over New Mexican wines and hors d'oeuvres at the inn's "happy hour." Breakfast, served in your room or in the kitchen, includes bagels, cereal and other standards. Vanessie restaurant and piano bar, located next door, offers a convenient option for Plaza-weary travelers.

The Details
Eight rooms in the main building and four set off in a private, adjacent structure are all uniquely decorated with Southwest style. Rooms feature a fireplace, wood-burning stove or kiva, and a patio or deck. Rug-covered brick floors, beamed ceilings and plush, four-poster or antique beds are common to most rooms. A video library is available in addition to cable TV. The adjacent building houses an enclosed hot tub, perfect for a luxurious soak after a long day of walking.
