A perfect stay in Santa Fe. The concierge (Debbie) gave us a wealth of information every time we asked which made our trip so much more fun. The location of this hotel is only a few feet from the start of Canyon Road and a couple of blocks from the Plaza but still away from major traffic and crowds. The breakfasts are amazing each morning and the evening wine and cheese party is always fun. This is one of the very best places my wife and I have stayed anywhere in the World I would highly recommend.

A quiet adobe retreat near the shops and restaurants of the Historic Plaza.. The Scene
Just a five-minute walk from Santa Fe's Historic Plaza, this hotel sits in a residential area, away from the tourist bustle. Its adobe entrance is adorned with desert blooms, and there's something about this intimate welcome that makes you feel as if you've arrived to stay in a close friend's casita. The 69 rooms and suites fill up in July and August, and during the Hot Air Balloon Festival in October.

The Details
Guest rooms are done in the area's ubiquitous Southwest style with local artwork and handmade furnishings. They offer lots of nice luxury extras, such as triple-sheeted Egyptian cotton bed linens, Italian robes, and basics like hair dryers, cable TV and data ports. Some rooms have fireplaces, patios and/or balconies, and suites are casita-style with their own entrances. Morning newspapers and local calls are free. B&B touches include a complimentary breakfast of pastries and fresh fruit, and a wine and cheese reception in the afternoon. The hotel calls on the best of the city's caterers for conferences, luncheons and reception dinners in its 2,500-square-feet of meeting space.
