Many thanks for the No Fragrance policy! Exquisite Dining ex. A friend and I recently dined at Santa Fe's Trattoria Nostrani. As our first course was about to arrive, four women were seated nearby...at least one wearing very strong perfume. The smell was simply awful. We asked to move to another table. I was deeply grateful when the owner kindly reminded the women of the restaurant's no fragrance policy (which they had been informed of when making their reservation) and gently asked them to leave. I deeply respect this owner's choice to provide a pleasant atmosphere for guests, even when it means turning away business. Thank you! And by the way, the food was divine!

Food created with passion!. If you are in Santa Fe and you want to experience food created with passion this place must be given the highest consideration, though if you can't think outside the box,consideration of the other patrons savoring their food,well it's your loss.

Diner Beware. We dined at Nostrani with great expectations. The food quality was excellent, but the menu choices were very few and the portions were VERY small and pricey. I suspect that they want you to order all courses to boost your bill. The wine list was all Italian which, to the even the above average wine consumer was not appealing. We were appauled at the price of the special of the day --imagine $65 for a Rib eye steak with only brocolli! We decided to have a freindly conversarion about broadening the wines on list - but the owner Eric was not receptive to any input . So what was the point of trying to give him constructive ideas. The owner Eric - must have designed his menu and wine list for himself and it not customer focsed. So I guess he will be dining alone!

Caution Avoid this Place!!!!. They charge your credit card the minute you make your reservation and do not tell you this. They are dishonest regarding their cancellation policy but are very quick to tell you about their NO FRAGRANCE policy. Santa Fe has many fantastic places to eat that are very welcoming, this is NOT one of those places. Eric the owner is pompous, dishonest and lies. Avoid this place!!!!

Very rude!. My experience with this restaurant was unacceptable and disappointing. After a misunderstanding of their reservation policy I was hung up on several times and treated poorly even before attending the restaurant. I ca honestly say I have never been treated so poorly by a business.
