NOT KID FRIENDLY, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have eaten at Pranzo Italian Grill in Santa Fe before and I was really not happy with my food including seafood pasta and chicken. It's been a while and we were right by it so decided to give it another chance. This time we went there with a friend, my 20 month old and her 2 year old. We did not even get a chance to eat, right at the entrance my daughter spilled their jar full of candy on the floor and even though I kept apologizing and helping them collect the candy they did not once say, " no problem". Instead made rude remarks like "just hold them so they don't do anything else". It's not like we're irresponsible parents. Even I could have spilled that jar of candy considering where they placed it. They shouldn't even have let me get on my knees and collect the candy with my hands ( I shouldn't have done it anyways), they should have just said these things happen, no worries. They made sure that we were very uncomfortable with their facial expressions and comments. Also my daughter has dairy and egg allergies so I was asking about what she could have with no dairy and egg in it, they straight up said, everything they have would have eggs and dairy, almost like they wanted us out of there. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, RUDE! NOT SMART!
Great finale to our stay in Santa Fe. Our last night in Santa Fe was capped by our dinner at Pranzo. The food was lovely, the service excellent and we loved the music: piano and sometimes singing of Broadway and Gershwin songs. On Sunday, the wine was 1/2 off. The view was nice too, also easy parking.
Nice atmosphere, so-so food and terrible service. Went with a small party tonight. We had a waiter that was rude and sarcastic all night. Some of the worst service I have ever encountered in a restaurant. The food was so-so. Appetizers were the best thing in the meal. We had to send a dish back because it was way oversalted (the risotto). Wine list is decent. I'm sure there are better places for Italian in Santa Fe.
nice ambiance. We went on a saturday night .It wasnot crowded. The food took a long time ,they told there was a mixup in the kitchen. I loved the parmesan chicken but the pizza was not the best.
