Cozy Italian Restaurant one block from the plaza. This is one our favorite Italian restaraunts downtown. The menu is affordable and they wine is delightful. I ordered a 3 course meal for 32.50. I got the grilled calamari which is so good...the grille flavor is so different than what I am use to. I then had an appetizer of the Pumpking Ravioli which is heavenly. Pumpkin, pine nuts and a sweet brown butter sauce...yes please! Then for my Entree I had the Lemon Rosemary Grilled Chicken, which is half of a chicken and very delicious!...all that for 32.50 thats crazy affordable. I will definitely be back to try the prix fixe again!

This place is a rare find in Santa Fe. I just adore Il Piatto. Time and time aghain they have made my evening (or lunch) special. The menu changes seasonally and they advertise extensively about their ties to the local farmers. I've always been treated well. Last time I came in on my wife's birthday they had a hige dessert platter out before I could even look at the dessert menu.

I particuarly like eating at the bar...the bartender always has a wine special or two to reccomend and pour little tastes for me to try before I commit to a glass. Another great way to experience it is at lunch...it never seems crowded, and all the entrees are $9.

Best Italian Food I've had in a long time. This restaurant was recommended to us by the concierge at our hotel and rightfully so, my husband and i have eaten in many Italian restaurants from New York to San Francisco and I would have to see this was some of the best food I've had in a while, the prices and atmosphere was non pretentious and everything was amazing. I will continue to recommend this restaurant to our friends, one can always tell when the chef owner is o the premesis, and this guy knows how to execute his menu you with all the right pizaz. I will visit again and again.

fabulous food & the price is just right. We visited this little Italian restaurant on our first night in Santa Fe and we loved it so much we ate there agin during our stay. The restaurant is small and you may have to wait for a table but well worth ir, the food was fresh, the menu and wine prices were very reasonable. Good value for the dollar. a favorite was gorgonzola walnut ravioli, apple and pear salad and their bread pudding was to die for. Amazing you can get three or four course during dinner anything on the menu my husband go the four course for 37.50 and i got the three 29.50, you just cannot beat it, a must if you are a lover of "real" italian food.

crowded. Excellent food but a bit costly. Entrees are small in amount as compared to the other places we have been to.

Menu is different from other Italian places. A small glass of wine costs 8 bucks :-(.....
