Gone downhill.
Perhaps it's a victim of it's own success, but this place has gone downhill. The last couple of times I've tried it, the food was oily, carelessly prepared, overpriced and the service lousy. I'm not going back. Plenty of other places in town that are better and cheaper, with similar food.

Tia Sophia's, Authentic New Mexican Cuisine.
Whenever I leave Santa Fe for a business trip out of town, the first thing I do when I get back home is head over to Tia Sophia's for my "green chili" fix. Locals and tourists alike wait patiently for tables at this downtown gem for lunch and breakfast. Everything is wonderful from the bean burritos drenched in chili to the chalupas, enchiladas, and chili rellenos. The best part is that the same family owns Tomasita's and Diego's (at DeVargas mall). I eat at each regularly.

Authentic New Mexican Cuisine.
Far and away the best value for true, authentic New Mexican cuisine (old school). Not your ordinary Santa Fe cusine...true to it's roots and where the locals go for good New Mexican food. Ask around...they'll tell you! Forget the trendy places...go to the source!!

yum.
This is a relatively small place and a wonderful one for breakfast. Lots of locals have their meals here. Try green the green chile - a little hot, but not overly so. The rumor is that Billy the Kid once worked here as a dishwasher.
