Terrible service, mediocre food. This was a terrible experience from start to finish. The waiter was unhelpful, food was nothing good, terrible salsa and sauces. They won't split checks but offer you the option to "do the math yourself" - our waiter handed us his handwritten guest check at the end. Difficult to deal with, got our orders mixed up. Really disappointing for what I had heard was a local favorite.

Unbelievably good Mexican food!. My wife and I are thinking about relocating from San Francisco to Santa Fe just to be closer to this restaurant. Just like one of the other reviewer's said, the wait staff are pleasant (but not exceptional), the ambience isn't notable, but the food is extraordinary. The house chili is the best we've ever had -- especially the green chili. And the sopasillas are an out-of-body experience. You might have to wait for a table here, but your tummy will thank you!

The best Mexican food in Santa Fe. That is why it is always packed and people are willing to wait a long time to get in. It is delicious New Mexican food. Yummy!!!!!

Best New Mexican food anywhere!. Being from NM, I have had the opportunity to try scores of New Mexican restaurants, but Tomasitas is still far and away my favorite. This place is always packed, but once you get a seat, your food comes quickly. The food is consistently good, and the atmosphere is great any night of the week. Try the red chile burrito or the stuffed sopapilla.

HELLO!!!!. Everyone in town recommended Tomasita's and now I know why. The room is nothing special, the people are nothing special, but the food is out of this world. The menu is standard fare, but what comes out is amazing. We ate at the Coyote Cafe, Shohko's, Pasqual's, and a hand full of other places in Sant Fe, but found that when it came to food, Tomasita's was hands down the best around. Locals and tourist alike flock to this place and it is well worth the wait.
