uninspiring. Stayed two days but housekeeping never showed up; dirty mat on floor in bathroom; barking dogs left alone in hotel rooms; moron at front desk called my room at 1am to confirm that I was actually in the room as the system showed the room as vacant- scared the crap out of me. Manager recited the usual lines about how sorry they were to inconvenienc me - bla, bla bla. Stay at the Inn and Spa at Loretto - it's much more charming

Attractive and comfortable. El Dorado is a very attractive southwestern decor hotel. There is a rooftop health club and pool that overlook downtown Santa Fe. Very comfortable rooms with nice ammenities and a lobby bar with big cushy chairs set around a large open fireplace. I would definately stay here again if I return to santa fe.

Pleasant accommodations with a distinct, Southwest flair.. The Scene
This pretty hotel won't disappoint visitors who've come to enjoy the city's decidedly Southwest ambiance. Kiva fireplaces adorn the Santa Fe-styled accommodations, and the rooftop pool takes full advantage of views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Book well in advance for the summer months. The hotel is crowded during the Hot Air Balloon Festival in October as well.

The Details
The 219 guest rooms and suites are done up with rustic wood furnishings and fabrics with Southwestern patterns. They feature either terraces or balconies with mountain views. Additional accommodations are offered in eight condos and 20 casitas less than two blocks away. Butler service for guests in Deluxe Rooms and Suites provides a nod to old-fashioned luxury. Care to have your shirt pressed or an errand run? Additional niceties include nightly turndown, valet parking, a bell staff and a doorman. The concierge can arrange fishing, golfing, biking and much more. Well-equipped fitness and business centers round out the facilities.
