With Santa Fe such a popular destination, and so many vacation new homes and condos built during the boom and now unsold and often empty, this is a good time to find a gorgeous place to stay. You might save a nickel by trying to rent direct -- but don't bother. In fact, it's not only a great convenience to use a good agency, but it sharply reduces or eliminates your risk of problems or just disappointment.
